ITASTRA SUMMER SCHOOL 2024

The Italian Language School is an institution belonging to the Department of Humanities of the University of Palermo. It promotes language learning, teacher training and research in the field of Second Language Acquisition and Italian as a Second or Foreign Language.

The Summer School 2024 is an intensive study program of Italian language and culture for all levels. It is organized in three autonomous two-weeks modules (38 hours each).

The Summer School will start on July 16th and will end on August 30th.The course is composed of 3 independent modules and each module tuition fee is € 170.

MODULE I 16 – 26/07/2024 (placement test deadline July 6th)

MODULE II 29/07/24 – 09/08/24 (placement test deadline July 19th)

MODULE III 19 – 30/08/2024 (placement test deadline August 9th)

The Erasmus Mundus Master Course in European Literary Cultures – CLE

An “Erasmus+ Erasmus Mundus Joint Master” programme

  • During the full-time program (23 months) EU and NON-EU students will have the opportunity to join an exciting international environment by spending terms in two or three different consortium universities.
  • The language of instruction varies according to the institutions chosen by the students depending on their language knowledge. At the end of the master course, the consortium universities provide a double or multiple degree.

Admission requirements:

  • A good level first-cycle degree in the field of European Literary Cultures (with Literature, History, Arts and Languages).
  • A recognized level of proficiency in the language of instruction of the consortium institution chosen for the first year of study (minimum level B2) and in English (minimum level B1).
