The President of the Council of Ministers, Mario Draghi, co-chaired the third Italy-Turkey intergovernmental summit, which was held in Ankara today, together with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. After visiting the Anıtkabir, mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the dedicated museum, Prime Minister Draghi met with President Erdoğan at the Presidential Palace. During the summit, bilateral meetings were held between the Italian ministers in the official delegation and their Turkish counterparts.
Following the plenary meeting and signing ceremony of the agreements, PM Draghi and President Erdoğan issued joint press statements.
