The NO’HMA Association and the Municipality of Milan, under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, are promoting again this year the International Award “Il Teatro Nudo” by Teresa Pomodoro, now in its fifteenth edition. The award is dedicated to the memory of Teresa Pomodoro, soul of the idea of an open theatre, which promotes the harmonious fusion of different artistic disciplines, placing its ethical, cathartic and mimetic role at the centre of artistic expression. Teatro Nudo is a theatre capable of identifying with values and exploring humanity and modern society. In its essential nature, it intends to restore an experiential value to the theatre, promoting growth and development and an openness with the public, regardless of age, class, gender or geographical origin.
