{"id":3317,"date":"2024-03-07T09:16:14","date_gmt":"2024-03-07T08:16:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambankara.esteri.it\/?p=3317"},"modified":"2024-03-07T10:35:35","modified_gmt":"2024-03-07T09:35:35","slug":"youth4climate-call-for-solutions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambankara.esteri.it\/it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/03\/youth4climate-call-for-solutions\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth4Climate &#8211; Call for Solutions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"coh-color-dark-green\"><strong>Youth4Climate<\/strong><\/span><strong> (Y4C) <\/strong>and its partners have launched the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/e0aD9hh2OsI\">2024 Call for Solutions<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\">Y4C supports the implementation of<strong> youth-led and youth-inclusive solutions<\/strong> to environmental and climate challenges, both financially and through capacity development, for a more innovative and inclusive impact on the ground.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">In response, the <strong>Government of Italy<\/strong> and the<strong> United Nations Development Programme<\/strong> (<strong>UNDP<\/strong>), in collaboration with a range of knowledge partners and youth constituencies, have set out to identify, support and scale youth-led climate breakthroughs through the global Youth4Climate initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Structured as an innovation challenge, this second edition of the Y4C Call for Solutions aims to support the work of young people and youth-led organisations in five thematic areas: <strong>Climate and Environment Literacy, Sustainable Energy, Food and Agriculture, Nature Assets, Sustainable Consumption and Production<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be awarded:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Up to US$ 30,000<\/strong> to implement or scale the proposed innovations.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">The possibility to\u00a0<strong>access technical support<\/strong> to strengthen their capacity on specific topics.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">The<strong> support from a mentor<\/strong> to develop their proposal.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Storytelling opportunities<\/strong> during next events of the Youth4Climate initiative and through the Youth4Climate Platform and Website of UNDP and its partners.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals, if successful, can be implemented over a maximum of 24 months. <strong>Proposals can be submitted in English, French or Spanish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"basic-block__title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/xQbUAjUgmXE\"><strong>How to apply?<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1: <\/strong>Go to the Call For Solutions 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/community.youth4climate.info\/callforsolutions\/templates\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guideline and template page<\/a>. You will need to register on the Youth4Climate Platform to gain access.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: <\/strong>Please download and read the Guidelines Document carefully. It will tell you everything you need to know on who can apply, the requirements and important deadlines.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Step 3: <\/strong>Download and fill out the budget and workplan template.
